Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Philadelphia keep standard business hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on weekends and holidays. The listed phone number is (215) 533-3567. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 23 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded auto repair shops in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Philadelphia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I cant even explain enough on how great Tom is. Very knowlegable in his feild. My first career in my younger years was a mechanic and still to this day, i rarely take my vehicles to a mechanic unless i don't have time, or weather conditions, or if smply i can't figure whats wrong. Tom has never let me down and always figures out diagnostic issues that i've experienced with my past and present vehicles. His prices are very fair but most importantly and is soo dificult to find, is his honesty to his customers. You wont find no bull s#!t here. Like i said, i use to be a mechanic, and ive put him to the test many years ago when I first had him work on one of my cars, he did not give me a bull$#!T lie. He was dead on and for that, I will not deal with anyone else!! other then me of course, LOL :) I highly recomend this location.

Brought my car in for a coolant leak, the problem was fixed. Only problem was that it took 2 weeks to get it resolved. Every time I called Tom said that the parts were still not in. Beside that, everything was fine, he seems like he’s been doing this for a long time.
